The Zeeland Education Foundation granted additional funds of $35,000 to support the expansion of the Phonics First program at Zeeland Public Schools to grades 3rd – 5th. The success of this program in the K-2nd grades has created a need for the upper level teachers receiving these students to be knowledgeable in the Phonics First program and to be able to expand the students’ learning. This program has been so effective at Zeeland Public Schools that other school districts in the state are seeing our results and are purchasing it for their school systems. We are proud to support Zeeland Public Schools by helping to provide resources that go above and beyond and create innovative learning opportunities for the students.
